[Audio below.] Rav Yitzchok Dweck, prominent rov in the Deal, NJ, community, known for his special nature, his chesed and his care for his kehillah together with his devoted rebbetzin, recently spoke about the painful events that have affected the Deal and Brooklyn communities, and the greater frum world. The sound may be muddy but the meaning is clear. He disowned his son, he did not know what was going to happen, he still holds the Hachamim, especially Rabbi Kassin, in the highest regard. The troubles started in 2005, and people did not realize what would happen in their dealings with the “former family member,” he recommended people not get involved starting then. Rabbi Dweck is a broken man over this.
