Last night, Rav Yonah Zelushinsky, R”M at Yeshivas Ponovezh in Bnei Brak, was presenting his weekly chaburah when he suddenly collapsed.
Hatzolah paramedics rushed to the scene and wished to take Rav Yonah to the hospital. Rav Yonah refused, stating that it was only “temporary weakness” and that he was feeling fine.
He thanked them profusely and then promptly continued to deliver his chaburah.
The paramedics couldn’t believe it, and so they stuck around to watch Rav Yonah complete the chaburah, which he did.
After a half hour, he concluded, and the Hatzolah paramedics asked him for brachos before departing.
