Rav Zevulun Liebb zt”l

It is with great sadness that Matzav.com reports the petirah of Rav Zevulun Dovid Liebb zt”l. He was 94.

Rav Liebb served as a marbitz Torah for over six decades, including serving as rosh yeshiva of Yeshiva Ishey Yisroel.

Rav Liebb was a noted talmid of Yeshivas Rabbeinu Chaim Berlin, learning under the rosh yeshiva, Rav Yitzchok Hutner zt”l, with whom he had a close kesher.

For many years, Rav Liebb was the baal Shacharis during the Yomim Noraim at Yeshivas Rabbeinu Chaim Berlin.

Rav Liebb’s devoted wife, Rebbetzin Esther Ranna Liebb a”h, passed away several years ago.

He is survived by his children, Rabbi Avrohom Shmuel Liebb, Rabbi Shlomo Yitzchok Liebb, Rabbi Shragie Liebb, Rabbi Yeruchem Liebb, Mrs. Sara Gittel Anisfeld (wife of R’ Avrohom Anisfeld), Mrs. Chana Rochel Tabak (wife of R’ Yossel Tabak), Mrs. Leah Malka Abraham (wife of R’ Dovie Abraham) and Mrs. Raizel Nissenbaum.

The levayah will be held on Sunday at 11 a.m. at the Congregation Sons of Israel Holocaust Memorial Chapel, located at 613 Ramsey Street, in Lakewood NJ.

The family will be sitting shivah at 15 12th Street in Lakewood.
