  1. Only problem is that Sullivan county’s incentive to bow to camp needs is gone – injection into local economy when members venture out of camp

  2. we New Yorkers need a fax number, an email address, a phone number to call Gov. Cuomo to tell him how insane it is to keep us parents locked up in the house with all these children kein Yirbu and not be able to work or earn anything to feed these open mouths.

WE NEED TO LET THE GOVERNOR KNOW HOW IMPORTANT IT IS TO OPEN ALL THE SUMMER CAMPS ALL OVER THE STATE >………………………………….

  3. Which means, every staff member and camper will have to be tested beforehand. Many will be found to be positive and will have to be quarantined for 2 weeks. Woe to children with positive results who will be taken from their homes to a quarantine center for 2 weeks. (Hope it’s not a trick to kidnap children now that the borders are closed.)

    • I didn’t even think of that. You’re right. What takeh will they do if a kid or staff member is found to have the virus? Wait in a quarantined place on campus until a parent comes to pick him up? Is that considered safe? Will they be forced to close the entire camp down at that point? Ain lidavar sof.
What about the daily food and other deliveries that must come into the camps? Will they be sprayed down?

  4. I hope that AJCO sees my comment. There’s a grammatical error in your letter. “Many of the campers and staff that are in our camps…” should be “Many of the campers and staff WHO are in our camps….”. It’s very important, when addressing elected officials, to present as educated individuals. They are more more likely to respect what you say.

  5. As incentive pointed out, if no one will be allowed out of camp, how exactly are you pumping tens of millions into the local economy???

  6. BEWARE: you can’t be serious. You can’t possibly have meant that. They’ll send the kids home. Seriously, help.

MATZAV: once again with the sensationalist fake-news reporting.
Your headline is a lie. AJOC didn’t say that. They requested that of the local government. Stop misleading people.
