It is with great sadness that Matzav.com reports the petirah of Reb Hershel Huld z”l. He was 77.
Reb Hershel, who lived in Monsey, was the founder and owner of Mayim Chaim beverage company, the first kosher-owned drink manufacturer in the United States, a business he started at the behest and advice of the Satmar Rebbe, the Divrei Yoel.
Reb Hershel passed away after contracting the Covid-19 virus.
Yehi zichro boruch.

Very special person. He had a mix of the other world in him. Having learnt in Litvish Yeshivos as a bachur; a great talmud chochom.
He was very closely connected to the great tzadik Rav Asher Freund ZT’L for many decades. Yehi zichro baruch
HASHEM GAVE HIM A ZECHUS TO DO CHESED AND THAT IS WHAT HE DID BUT HE DIDNT TAKE CREDIT FOR DOING IT.
