It is with great sadness that Matzav.com reports the passing of Reb Naftali Hertz Meisler z”l of Antwerp/Yerushalayim. He was 68.
Reb Naftali Hertz was one of the most prominent supporters of Vizhnitz.
A son of Reb Chaim Shlomo Meisler, he learned at the Lucerne Yeshiva in Switzerland, under the rosh yeshiva Rav Yitzchak Dov Koppelman.
He lived for decades in Antwerp, Belgium and over a decade ago moved to Yerushalayim.
Reb Naftali Hertz was extremely close to the Yeshuos Moshe of Vizhnitz and his son, the present Vizhnitzer Rebbe of Bnei Brak.
He leaves behind one son, singer Reb Shlomo Meisler of Antwerp.
The levayah was held today at his home at 19 Rechov Minchas Yitzchok in Yerushalayim, followed by kevurah on Har Hamenuchos.
