  1. May he be released now, Amen! But I am glad he was at least afforded a prison that address Religious needs slightly more. That’s the glimmer of hope that things are going in a better direction.

  2. Beruchim Haboem ! At least reb Sholom will have regular (if that’s possible) kosher food and a regular minyan. Also, there is a steady stream of heimisha visitors.

  3. Where will he be in Otisville? In the “Camp” or in the prison? Is he now to be with unzerer with a Bais Medrash and Glatt Kosher food or in the prison with the dregs of society cut off from the availability of contact with yidden and yiddishkeit?

  4. Address to send letters to him is:

    Sholom Rubashkin 10755-029
    FCI Otisville
    Federal Correction Inst.
    P.O. Box 1000
    Otisville, NY 10963

  5. #6, It’s based on a point system, and though I don’t know all of its details, most inmates in the camp are serving relatively short sentences.

  6. My heart goes out to the whole family and I have in mind when I say “matir assurim.”
But why does he rate having his name for davening in the body of the article (“Sholom Mordechai ben Rivka”) and Gilad ben Aviva doesn’t?

  7. If people accept upon themseles to improve in their fullfillment of the Torah for his zechus, that would go a long way.

  8. ALL THE GEDOLIM are saying Moshiach is coming very soopossibaly even this month VERY SOON SHOLOM MORDECHAI and all of us will be free people

  9. He is in the prison not the camp. While the conditions are a bit better from where he is coming from but there is no minyan and not many other frum Yidden there. may we share besuros Tovos in a revealed way.
