It is with great sadness that Matzav.com reports the passing of Rebbetzin Alte Soshe Klein a”h. She was 100 years old.
Rebbetzin Klein was born in the city of Makova, Hungary. Her father was Rav Yechiel Chaim, the Makova Rebbe, who was the father-in-law of Rav Aharon of Belz.
The Rebbetzin married her husband, Rav Shimon Klein, who was one of the most prominent Belzer chassidim.
The Rebbetzin leaves behind generations of descendants following in her and her husband’s ways. Her children are Rav Moshe Yehoshua Klein of Yerushalayim, Rav Yaakov Klein, and Rav Hershel Klein of Boro Park.
The levayah was held today at Shamgar in Yerushalayim, followed by kevurah on Har Hamenuchos.
