It is with great sadness that Matzav.com reports the petirah of Rebbetzin Chava Taplin a”h. She was 81.
Rebbetzin Taplin was the aishes chover of Hagaon Rav Yisroel Taplin, renowned talmid chochom, masmid and mechaber seforim from Beth Medrash Govoah.
Throughout the decades, the Rebbetzin was a devoted eizer kenegdo, enabling her husband to spend his entire life between the koslei bais hamedrash, learning, as he does, throughout the day and night, one of the great masmidim of North America.
The levayah will be held Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. at the Congregation Sons of Israel Holocaust Memorial Chapel off of East 7th Street in Lakewood, NJ. The aron will then be flown via El Al from JFK International Airport to Eretz Yisroel for kevurah there.
Rebbetzin Taplin is survived by her husband, Rav Yisroel, and their wonderful family.
The family will be sitting shivah at 283 Albert Avenue in Lakewood, NJ.
