It is with great sadness that we report the passing of Rebbetzin Chaya Militzky a”h in Yerushalayim. She was 75.
Rebbetzin Chaya was a daughter of the famed maggid, Rav Shalom Mordechai Hakohein Shwadron zt”l, and his wife, Rebbetzin Leah.
She suffered in recent years from a serious illness and passed away last night.
Her husband, Rav Aryeh Dov Militzky zt”l, a noted talmid chochom, passed away 22 years ago.
Rebbetzin Militzky was a righteous woman who impacted numerous girls and women through her teaching at the central Bais Yaakov school and through shiurim she delivered on numerous topics.
She was very involved in Ezer Layoledes, helping kimpettorin in numerous ways.
The Rebbetzin leaves behind doros yeshorim, including 12 children and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren who follow in her path.
The levaya was held last night at the Shamgar funeral home in Yerushalayim, followed by kevurah on Har Hazeisim.
