It is with great sadness that Matzav.com reports the petirah of Rebbetzin Devorah Esther Spiegel a”h, beloved wife of Rav Dovid Spiegel, Ostrov-Kalushiner Rebbe and rov of Congregation Beis Medrash of Cedarhurst.
The rebbetzin, together with the rebbe, brought the joy of Yiddishkeit and Chassidus to Cedarhurst and the Five Towns, adding so much the life and vibrancy of the community.
The rebbetzin is survived by the rebbe, Rav Dovid, and their children, two sons and ten daughters, and many grandchildren.
The levaya will take place Wednesday morning, at 10 a.m., at the Bais Medrash of Cedarhurst, located at 504 West Broadway in Cedarhurst, followed by kevurah at the Beth Israel Cemetery in Woodbridge, NJ.
