candle-small6It is with great sadness that Matzav.com reports the passing of Rebbetzin Sarah Kulefsky a”h, wife of Rav Yaakov Moshe Kulefsky zt”l, beloved rosh yeshiva of Yeshiva Ner Yisroel in Baltimore.

Rebbetzin Kulefsky’s parents were R’ Elozor Lipa and Mrs. Esther Chana (Radlich) Gartenhaus. She was a regal woman of sterling character who embraced her role as an eizer kenegdo to her illustrious husband, whom she married in 1950. Four years later, when Rav Yaakov Weinberg zt”l moved from Baltimore, Rav Kulefsky joined Ner Yisroel. During those decades, Rebbetzin Kulefsky was supremely devoted to her choshuveh husband and to the talmidim of the yeshiva, showering the students with love and care, and always putting her own needs aside to address the needs of her husband and the yeshiva.

Together, the Rebbetzin and Rav Kulefsky raised a beautiful family of bnei and bnos Torah who follow in their footsteps. The Rebbetzin is survived by her two sons, R’ Tzvi Hirsch and R’ Nosson; three daughters, Mrs. Esther Chana Abraham, Mrs. Ettie Rosenbaum and Mrs. Faigi Gruman; dozens of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The levaya will be held today, at 2 p.m. at Yeshiva Ner Yisroel, located at 400 Mount Wilson Lane in Pikesville, Maryland.

Yehi zichrah boruch.

Neither option above will work before the audio program starts. The Yeshiva will bring up the stream 1 hour before to allow you to test your computer. If you cannot play it, try installing a media player such as RealAudio.
