jimmy-mcmillanThe rent may not be Jimmy McMillan’s problem much longer. The Rent Is Too —- High Party founder could find himself booted from his rent-stabilized apartment on St. Marks Place next month if he doesn’t turn over financial information to his landlord, a judge said yesterday.

The colorful political figure said he didn’t want to hand over his information because he didn’t think it was the business of the landlord, Lisco Holdings.

“It is an invasion of your privacy,” Manhattan Housing Court Judge John Stanley agreed with him, but said a failure to turn over the documents would lead to eviction.

The company wants to look at his documents in a bid to bolster its argument that McMillan doesn’t really live at the apartment.
After court, McMillan admitted he often slept at a Brooklyn home instead of the Manhattan one he shares with his 32-year-old son, but insisted he had a good reason.
