Rep. Biggs: More FBI Docs Coming on Biden

According to Rep. Andy Biggs, the House Oversight Committee anticipates receiving additional FD-1023 forms from the FBI this week that corroborate the claims made by a Ukrainian oligarch regarding an alleged bribery scheme involving President Joe Biden and his son Hunter. Speaking on Newsmax’s “Sunday Report,” the Arizona Republican stated, “We continue to gather evidence, so we’re going to obtain more bank records this week. We are expecting more 10-23s, which are these reports from the FBI.”

In addition to the suspicious activity reports submitted to the Department of Treasury, Biggs mentioned that people are curious about the ongoing developments, particularly when comparing the committee’s progress with the Department of Justice’s efforts over the past few years. He emphasized, “We have made significant strides in about 4-5 months. We have pieced this puzzle together. I believe the next step is to establish the connections.”

Biggs clarified that the forthcoming FD-1023 documents may not originate from the same informant involved in the initial FBI document that the Oversight Committee sought regarding the Bidens. “These reports come from other sources within the FBI,” he explained, noting the FBI’s reluctance to cooperate and their uncooperative behavior.

While committee members were able to review the redacted initial FBI document, which had been declassified, Biggs noted that it was highly redacted, deviating from the norm. He further mentioned that the Ukrainian source claimed to possess additional documentation of interactions with Biden and his son.

Meanwhile, the House Homeland Security Committee announced plans to investigate Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas last week, potentially leading to impeachment proceedings. Biggs shared his prior experience with introducing an impeachment resolution over a year ago and emphasized the importance of maintaining Republican unity. He stated, “We have members in our caucus who are seeking constitutional and legal justifications. We are aligning all the necessary elements to ensure everyone feels confident moving forward. The last thing we want is to be unable to complete the impeachment process in the House of Representatives.”
