President Joe Biden’s presence at the G-7 Summit sparked concerns over his mental acuity, as reported by the New York Post. On Friday, he appeared disoriented and had to rely on Japan’s leader, Fumio Kishida, for guidance, which culminated in a near fall on a flight of stairs.

According to the newspaper, Biden, who is 80 years old, exhibited signs of confusion when his wife, Jill, guided him to meet the Japanese leader before the summit. Upon shaking hands with Kishida, Biden unexpectedly turned to the prime minister’s wife. In a peculiar moment, he assumed a boxer’s stance, with clenched fists and a bent-over posture, before eventually shaking her hand.

Witnessing Biden’s apparent disorientation, Kishida stepped in to assist the U.S. delegation in posing for photographs. Recognizing the situation, the first lady lightened the mood by jokingly stating, “We’ll figure it out.”

The New York Post highlighted Biden’s age and history of gaffes, especially as he seeks re-election for the presidency in 2024. If he were to serve a full second term, he would be 86 years old, and his previous incidents of stumbling are not forgotten. In March 2021, video footage captured Biden stumbling twice while climbing the stairs of Air Force One, ultimately dropping to one knee.

As the oldest president in U.S. history embarks on his campaign for re-election, he increasingly acknowledges his advanced age. By making self-deprecating jokes and emphasizing his decades of public service, Biden hopes to convince voters that his age is an asset rather than a vulnerability, according to The Associated Press.

Oh gosh! With Trup running, like Ross Perot, he will fracture the Republican vote and hand the victory to Biden and Mommala.

  2. too many jokes and continuous poking fun at normal aging problems. a bit cruel.. but yes pertinant for presidential material and competence.
