Hamas has reportedly restored its operational capabilities to the levels they had reached prior to Operation Protective Edge in 2014, senior Israeli defense officials warned today.
The Israel official warned that Hamas had restored its tunnel and rocket capabilities to their 2014 levels, according to a report on Israel’s Channel 2.
A large part of Hamas’s missile stockpile are from self-made weapons inside Gaza and the material used to make the weapons came through the Rafah border crossing with Egypt.
Separately, during a tour of Israeli communities near the border with Gaza Strip Tuesday, Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman warned about the Hamas threat.
“Hamas and the rest of the groups in Gaza have not abandoned their desire to destroy Israel and to harm us,” he said. JNS.ORG
