According to Iran International, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei was moved to a secure underground facility in northeastern Tehran just hours after Israel launched airstrikes on Friday.

The report, which cites two well-placed sources within Iran, states that Khamenei is currently accompanied by his entire family in a shelter located in the Lavizan district.

The same bunker had reportedly been used by Khamenei during earlier crises, including Iran’s missile attacks on Israel in April and October of 2024.

The news outlet also quotes a diplomatic source from the region who said that Israel deliberately chose not to target Khamenei on the first night of its military operation. According to the source, the decision was made in hopes of giving Iran’s leader one last opportunity to fully abandon his nuclear enrichment efforts.

  1. First, destroy any route he could use to exit that bunker. Then, smoke him out. Eliminating his ability to communicate with the outside world would be an added plus. Then bomb away. The first bunker buster might not get him, but the next one might.

Next, destroy any refineries. He’ll have no economy. Then go for the launchers. They’re everywhere.

  2. It’s hard to fathom what goes on in these terrorist leaders’ minds. They see that being “in charge” of any facet of the terror machine puts a serious, almost inevitable marker on their heads, and yet there still are constantly new people “in charge”. Now this “supreme leader” is kind-of stuck between a rock and a hard place, but the “groisse mitzvah” of ridding the world of Jews r”l seems to override even his own ultimate self preservation. I’d love to see which retard will achieve the coveted honor of replacing him when Israel decides his time has come. Of course one can always disbelieve Israel’s claims about having this sensitive information, but their phenomenal success at getting to these chiefs seems to mitigate that belief, imho

  3. Word has it that he hasn’t been eliminated because the US opposes killing political figures. What’s the difference between this ‘political figure’ and Hitler y”sh? That this one has not come to a lema’aseh yet?

  4. Does anyone not understand that killing Khameni would unleash a storm of zealots, hot to avenge their rebbe, onto the heads of any Jew in the world?

  5. Israel already knows the person who would replace him and has already weighed the pluses and minuses whether to allow to him to live or die.
