Report: Rise in European Anti-Semitism

anti-semitismA new report released on Sunday from Tel Aviv University shows that while violent anti-Semitic attacks decreased in 2013, anti-Semitic views were becoming more pervasive throughout Europe.

66 percent of European Jews said anti-Semitism had a negative effect on their lives, and one-third declined attending Jewish events out of fear of attacks. 554 anti-Semitic attacks against people and Jewish institutions occurred in 2013. France had the most, with 116 incidents.

Overall, that was a 19 percent drop in attacks compared to 2012, but it was still significantly higher than the averages recorded between 1994 and 2004, which tended to fall between 150 to 200 incidents. Read more.

  1. only in strength people fear nations, Israel is becoming less strong just like the United States when governments become whimps instead of standing strong and it’s people stand together. The worlds nations are becoming bullies because Israel is acting like a victim rather than a winner. YOU HAVE SURVIVED why act like a loser.
