Ted Cruz’s campaign is reportedly vetting Carly Fiorina as a potential vice presidential candidate should he somehow come away with the Republican nomination.
Fiorina has been a fixture on the Cruz campaign trail for months, appearing alongside the Texan senator soon after she dropped out of the presidential contest.
According to Sarah Isgur Flores, Fiorina’s former deputy campaign manager, the vetting process has begun, but “no offers” have been made.
When asked by The Daily Beast if Fiorina would accept the position, Flores said, “we don’t answer hypotheticals,” with a smile emoji at the end of the sentence. Read more at The Weekly Standard.
