Report: Trump Seeking Meeting With Putin Before Election

President Trump is seeking a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin ahead of the November election, NBC News reported Sunday.

Trump aims to announce an update in the New START nuclear arms control agreement to get another foreign policy win before the election, unidentified sources familiar with the discussions told the network.

Administration officials are reportedly examining different times and locations for a potential meeting between the presidents, including around the time of the United Nations General Assembly next month in New York.

  1. According to Fox News, Newt Gingrich slammed 2020 presidential candidate Joe Biden stating that his campaign will “collapse.”
“This will be the high-water mark before the collapse of the Biden-Harris ticket,” Gingrich said.
“Rasmussen just came out and said 55 percent of the country does not think Biden will complete his first term, which means people are going to be looking at Harris as a president, not a vice president.”
“They just sent out this really pathetic thing from the Biden-Harris campaign headquarters that said these two people are ready to lead from day one and they have this weird picture of Harris and Biden in masks, both of them looking down like they don’t want to fall … it just gives you a flavor of where they’re going,” Gingrich said.
