President Trump will walk back a major campaign promise by not relocating the U.S. embassy in Israel to Jerusalem, according to a report on Wednesday.
An unnamed White House official told Bloomberg that recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capital “would not be wise at this time,” especially given the work the Trump administration is doing to promote peaceful negotiations between the Palestinian Authority and the Israeli government.
“We’ve been very clear what our position is and what we would like to see done, but we’re not looking to provoke anyone when everyone’s playing really nice,” the official said. Read more at The Hill.

i don’t understand how something like this story can be printed just on the basis of being called a “report by an unnamed white house source”. if the “source” wishes to be “unnamed” isn’t that very suspicious that perhaps this is “fake news” generated by the likes of CNN or all the others that dislike Trump?
Trump is playing this very smart and will move it next time.As jews we should understand why he isn’t moving it at this time. His advisers in these areas are smart good jews who know the greater picture!!
See?
I told you not to trust any Republicans and especially the big evil white racist anti semite himself, Donald Trump. President Obama, a Democrat, was the greatest friend Israel ever had. Even greater than Bill Clinton. I’m so proud of Barack Obama.
Dear Gadolhadorah,
I’ve read your comments in the past as well as the one above and I’ve come to the conclusion that you’re really a very sick, deranged person.
Sincerely,
The Commish
the Obamanation gave billions of dollars to Iran to support terrorism against Israel
Another broken promise
Maybe best this way. Not to provoke the nations…
You are naive to think that not moving the US embassy to Jerusalem does not provoke the nations when they provoke EY at every opportunity given to them by the Fake News. If Putin did it and the nations were not provoked, so can Trump.
An unnamed White House official told Bloomberg……………………unnamed sources.
What I find ridiculous is if they want the embassy in Jerusalem all they have to do is make a plaque attach it to a building already built in Jerusalem and say this is the new embassy. Everything they have to do is have a few offices which are attached by a computer, and voila an embassy. What would be the problem of having an embassy north and south for the convenience of the people going to use the US embassy. Everything now is another major disaster decision when the answer is very simple.
