The United States and Israel are reportedly accelerating military preparations amid growing concerns that fighting with Iran could resume within days, according to a report published today by The New York Times.
The report stated that both countries are engaged in what is being described as the most significant military mobilization since the ceasefire between the sides took effect.
President Donald Trump returned to Washington following his trip to China as his administration weighs major decisions connected to the Iranian front and the possibility of renewed conflict.
At the same time, the report said Pentagon officials are actively reviewing plans for restarting military operations against Iran after the campaign was paused once the ceasefire went into effect.
