Eight boys rescued by Yad L’Achim with their mothers from Arab villages celebrated their bar mitzvahs in a moving ceremony at the Kosel.
“All the years in the village, I worried about my son’s future,” one mother said. “Now I know that I won, and my son will grow up as a Jew.”
Yad L’Achim said the boys were to be taken on visits to gedolei Yisroel and celebrated their bar mitzvahs individually with family and friends.
