Officials from St. John’s Episcopal Church in Fort Hamilton announced Tuesday that they would be removing a plaque honoring Gen. Robert E. Lee following the events in Charlottesville, Va., last weekend and renewed concerns over Confederate symbols and statues.

The New York Chapter of the United Daughters of the Confederacy installed the plaque on church grounds in 1912 on maple tree planted by Lee years earlier. Read more at NY POST.

    • so you agree with the confederacy? and if the confederacy had the opinion Jews instead of blacks would you feel the same way?

  1. This is all the creation of Obama/Holder. It was left to fester and has now become the norm. The blind few are controlling the masses. 1st ammendment has been abolished.

    • “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”
how has the 1st amendment been abolished? has the state infringed on anything? elected officials are allowed to use the power allotted by the people to make decisions that are best for their local.

  2. The dying Democrats are so mad that they’ll never get another chance to become President (because election frauds are being cleaned up), so they’re out to destroy America’s history completely. Obama started America’s destruction and his people are continuing.
