Former special counsel Robert Mueller returned on Tuesday to his former law firm, where he will work on high-profile investigations and crisis management.

Mueller’s gig brings him full circle, back to WilmerHale’s Washington, D.C., office, where he was a partner before agreeing in May 2017 to lead the government’s probe into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.

“I’m glad to be at WilmerHale once again, a firm with a tradition of honoring public service,” Mueller said in a statement released by the law firm. “It was an honor to serve as special counsel. Now, I look forward to resuming my private practice alongside the talented lawyers at the firm.”

  1. Ya, sure. He was mentally unstable after Russian hoax and now fake news are manipulating the sheeple with new conspiracies.

  2. Which firm is that? I sure want to avoid them: they’ve got a partner who is the epitome of ineptitude! Ain’t usin them!

  3. The guy should be embarrassed. I really felt kinda sorry for him, after two and a half years and 40 million bucks , he couldn’t even find a unpaid parking ticket on Trump. Lol , oh wait the President hasn’t had to drive himself in 40 years. Go away Robi your finished.
