I have just one question. We all know that the first Pesach started on a Thursday and that Matan Torah was on Shabbos. How did the count of the Omer work out that year? Nowadays, when Pesach starts on Thursday, Shavuos must start on Friday for the count of 50 to be correct.
If you could post an answer either in writing or in a future shiur, I am sure that many of us would find it very interesting.

Nowadays, if Pesach begins on Thursday, then Shavuos must begin on Friday for Sefiras Haomer to be a full 50 days.
