Judge Linda Reade, who resides in Iowa, will be heading back to the state after court today to tend to some business. Thus, there will not be any court proceedings tomorrow.

Matzav.com has learned that for the duration of the trial, court proceedings will be held Monday thru Thursday and will be suspended Friday thru Sunday, which will allow the Rubashkins to return home for Shabbos.”Boruch Hashem for that,” the Matzav.com reporter in Sioux Falls said. “It is about 5-hour drive from Sioux Falls to Postville, but they’ll be able to leave each week on Thursday night, and being home for Shabbos is a great thing for the family, and anyone really.”

The majority of the Yidden who had travelled to Sioux Falls from New York to provide moral support to Reb Shalom Mordechai departed yesterday, though a minyan was still in Sioux Falls this morning. Shacharis was davened at about 6:30 a.m., followed by breakfast. The remaining group then headed for the courthouse.

“The prevailing feeling here is bitachon. Bitachon that everything will turn out right,” concluded the Matzav.com reporter. “Reb Shalom Mordechai, besides for being a remarkable person, is a walking mussar sefer in bitachon. It is truly unbelievable.”

Please continue to daven for Shalom Mordechai Halevi ben Rivkah.

Hundreds of thousands of dollars are still needed to pay for Reb Shalom Mordechai’s legal team. The help of Yidden across the globe is severely needed.
