Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani is reportedly considering another bid for his former position.
Giuliani, now 80, held the mayoral office from 1994 to 2001, gaining global recognition for his leadership following the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center.
“I’m not going to say never, ever, ever,” Giuliani mentioned during a conversation with the New York Post from Palm Beach, Florida.
He clarified, “I’m not running for mayor. But then there are a lot of people who want me to run for mayor. But it’s unlikely.”
Pressed further about a possible campaign, Giuliani shared his concerns about the current political landscape.
“Everyone running for mayor looks like they’re from Red China,” he remarked to the Post. “They don’t look American. I’m concerned about the city becoming a Democratic dictatorship.
“The only time since Fiorello LaGuardia a century ago that city government was honest was under me and Mike Bloomberg. If you don’t have a Republican or independent mayor, you will have corruption at City Hall.”
Giuliani continues to be a vocal advocate for former President Donald Trump. He addressed supporters at Trump’s rally in Madison Square Garden on October 27, as noted by Newsweek.
The former Southern District of New York U.S. Attorney was disbarred in Washington in September, following the suspension of his law license in New York due to his involvement in advancing Trump’s claims regarding the 2020 presidential election outcome.

He just had his apt taken away in court settlement. As Mayor, he’ll have somewhere to live – Mayor’s mansion.
