Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas have agreed to meet in principle in Moscow, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova says.
“Responding to the appeals of the Palestinians and Israelis, we confirmed our readiness to arrange a meeting in Moscow,” Zakharova told TASS, Russia’s news agency. “We are convinced that there is a need to resume the negotiations.”
It is not clear when that meeting will occur.
There have been contradictory reports in the last week over whether Abbas was willing to meet without preconditions. JNS.ORG
