Though the White House previously said that Russian hackers who breached its computer system only accessed unclassified information, new details suggest the stolen information was still highly sensitive.
CNN reports that the breach gave hackers access to non-public details of the president’s schedule, for instance. The FBI, Secret Service and U.S. intelligence agencies are investigating the breach, which is thought to have started in the State Department’s system with a phishing email. Read more at CNN.
