House Speaker Paul Ryan will not ask his fellow Republicans to support presumptive presidential nominee Donald Trump, he said in an interview that will air Sunday on NBC’s Meet the Press, The Daily Beast reports. “The last thing I would do is tell anybody to do something that’s contrary to their conscience,” Ryan said told Chuck Todd. “Of course I wouldn’t do that.” Ryan, who has endorsed Trump but has not held back in criticizing him, also acknowledged that Trump is a “unique” candidate.

“But I feel as a responsibility institutionally as speaker of the House that I should not be leading some chasm in the middle of our party,” Ryan continued. “Because you know what I know that’ll do? That’ll definitely knock us out of the White House.”

  1. Ryan plays the COY and CLEVER game
Paul Ryan claims to be a Randian capitalist, but he never read her, or obviously, could not grasp her ideas and principles. Ryan does not attack Corporate Welfare but he rabidly attacks Workers. Rand opposed the Military and Religion as enslavers of the body and the mind, but Ryan grovels to both. Ryan is all FOR war ….. as long as HE can PROFIT off it but never, never, volunteered to serve alongside his “fellow Americans” or put himself in “harm’s way”. Ryan is all FOR religion, as long as he does not have to show grace to the Working Class. Ryan strongly attacks Social Security, even though he cashed every single check after his Father died, and was so rich to begin with that he could SAVE all those Social Security monies to pay for his college.

    • Lit tame thought. The world of the neo-conservative can better today be described as a neo-fascist. The conservatism is just a road wig that they wear for self-identity. We are really looking at a wolf in sheeps clothing and in real thought, the sheep easy are not the people in greater lawful humor.

Today we live in a Hate State. The neo-aggressive hate conservatives find terror and transitory discredit to attack those who disagree of their hate concourse in human judgment.

We are right to consider our faith and favor in G-d intelligent. G-d is not a neo-conservative and G-d is not a hate-fascist.

Thus any speech that denigrates liberalism is not political right but hate speech designed to deny human rights to the careful minds that study and seek a humane future with law and right living fate.

The only consideration is that ultra-left minds are not the real classic liberals but hate-socialists and hate-paced neo-washingtonians. They do not find the rights of man in so far as they find the rights of the toeivah and the told hate of good faith in America.

We are stuck with negativity on every extreme.

A good faith is a centrist. G-d is neither left or right. I myself am going to study Torah and find that our best interests are of course Centrist. If G-d can be found in the middle of the harm, we can find our voice and our vote in a centrist reality. The arguments on either side will find us all appalling but we are going to be the ones with bigger ideas.

      G-d bless America.

It is indeed a better idea if a centrist nation can exist. G-d can be blessed.

      Shalom.

  2. Does speaker Ryan know the definition of “endorse”?
(Just “hocking a chynik” here. Charles Krauthammer had an excellent editorial last week describing Ryan’s dilemma in detail.)

  3. The only way to knock Trump out is to have a contested convention. The only question is will they put in instead? Ted Cruz? Jeb Bush? Bobby Jindal?
