maybe one can buy the older models that have a slower max speed ?
i assume its a pre chanukah announcement as many more may be getting them
question in proportion to how many frum kids have them has there really been that many accidents ?
how does one measure benefit vs. risk?
My son’s Yeshiva banned it a while ago.
And rightfully so!
It is really getting out of hand.
Asides the above safety issue..
Kids laziness and self-entitlements are only getting worse.
Let them use a good ol bike and at least get some exercise on the way.

There’s no benefit. We survived without them. Kids can use their feet to walk..like we did instead of bumping into people constantly.
One of the biggest problem is that it’s too quiet. Pedestrians should hear it from far.
