Today is the third yahrtzeit of Harav Moshe Teitelbaum zt”l, the late Satmar Rebbe and author of Berach Moshe. The Berach Moshe was niftar late in the afternoon on Monday, 26 Nissan/April 24, 2006. In Kiryas Yoel, Rav Aharon Teitelbaum of Satmat will conduct a yahrzeit tish at the main bis medrash beginning at 7 p.m. with thousands participating. In Williamsburg, Rav Zalman Leib Teitelbaum of Satmar will hold a yahrzeit tish in the main bais medrash on Rodney Street with thousands in attendance.
Today, tens of thousands are visiting the Satmar cemetery in Kiryas Yoel to daven at the Berach Moshe‘s kever. Rav Aharon Teitelbaum and Rav Zalman Leib Teitelbaum are both scheduled to visit the kever as well. The bais hakevaros will be open for men exclusively until 5 a.m. tomorrow. After that, the Kiryas Yoel cemetery will be open for women as well. Men are directed to enter the cemetery through the upper gate near the yeshiva and ladies may use the lower entry gate at the roadside. Visitors are requested to not block the thoroughfare by stopping to recite Tehillim or any other lengthy tefillos.
