Schedule for Repaving of Roads in the Lakewood Industrial Park

The Lakewood Industrial Commission (LIC) with the cooperation of the Township Committee is repaving several roads in the Lakewood Industrial Park in Lakewood, NJ, through an arrangement with the Ocean County Road Department.

All paving is scheduled to begin about 10:00 a.m. Weather permitting, Bennett Boulevard (450 feet) andSwarthmore Avenue (1500 feet) will be repaved October 10 – 13. Although portions of the 3,700 feet of Oberlin Avenue have been completed, the rest of the paving is scheduled for October 5 and 6. The repaving of Towbin (3,000 feet) has been completed

Steve Reinman, the executive director of the LIC, said, “I am very pleased that in cooperation with the Lakewood Township Committee and the County the LIC is able to bring such great value to the many important businesses in the Industrial Park. These repaved roads will make visiting the Park a more pleasant and safe experience for employees and customers alike.”

Committeeman Mike D’Elia said, “The Township Committee thanks the LIC very much for unanimously approving the funds to repave some roads in the Lakewood Industrial Park.”
