Rep. Adam Schiff, the ranking member of the House Intelligence Committee, said Friday that Saudi Arabia’s explanation for the death of dissident journalist Jamal Khashoggi is “not credible.”
Schiff weighed in on Twitter after Saudi Arabia released a statement claiming that Khashoggi died after getting into a fight with people at the Saudi consulate in Istanbul earlier this month.
“The claim that Khashoggi was killed while brawling with 15 men dispatched from Saudi Arabia is not at all credible. If he was fighting with those sent to capture or kill him, it was for his life.
The Kingdom must be held to account. If Administration doesn’t lead, Congress must.”

I agree with Adam. Trump should resign immediately over this cover-up.
Jamal Khashoggi knew too many dark secrets about US and Saudi intel collusion, primarily related to the 9/11 terror incidents. And with his increasing volubility as a critical journalist in a prominent American news outlet, it was time to silence him. The Saudis as hitmen, the American CIA as facilitators. John Brennan?
