Scientists: Climate Change Makes Extreme Weather New Normal

Scorching heat waves, wildfires, and devastating floods across the globe are no longer weather anomalies but part of the new normal thanks to global warming, scientists say.

“The old records belong to a world that no longer exists,” Martin Hoerling, a research meteorologist at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, told The Washington Post on Thursday. Numerous cities that had previously been immune to sweltering heat waves experienced the effects of climate change this summer, including a snowy region just north of the Arctic Circle in Finland that recorded a temperature of 90 degrees earlier this month. In Greece and Japan, record-breaking temperatures claimed dozens of lives. And in the U.S., at least 35 weather stations set new records for warm overnight temperatures in the past month. Scientists say the temperatures will only keep increasing, and extreme weather events will only become more catastrophic as the burning of fossil fuels injects more greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. 1. What happened to global warming? Oh, now it’s climate change.

When will these econazis wake up and realize Hashem runs the world, and man does not affect climate?

And, oh by the way, the ice caps on Mars are melting, too.

  2. There was an tremendous earthquake in Japan a few years ago, which tilted the earth’s axis a bit. If you remember, after the מבול the earth’s axis was tilted, resulting in seasons, and this earthquake just made it more severe. At the time, the article claimed that seasons would start a bit more mildly, and then be more extreme, before bowing out. Usually, this has been the case. So it’s really hard to know the exact cause of the climactic changes.

  3. Where were these “scientists” just a few months ago when it was freezing? Why do they wake up in the summer?

  4. I thought the old Vietnam war hero, the great John Kerry, told us that air conditioners pose the greatest threat to the worlds future. Even greater than ISIL.
