Search interest for Julián Castro, the Obama-era Housing and Urban Development secretary and former San Antonio mayor, has seen a significant spike on Google since the start of the first Democratic presidential debate on Wednesday night.
Citing data from Google Trends, NBC News reports that search interest for the 2020 White House hopeful saw a surge of more than 2,400 percent on Google after he made a number of fiery comments on immigration during the debate.
One sharp remark from Castro came when he was pressed during the debate about a recent photo that showed the bodies of the two migrants — Óscar Alberto Martínez Ramírez and his 23-month old daughter, Valeria — lying face down in the Rio Grande.
Castro is also trending on Twitter, along with several of the other high-profile Democrats from Wednesday night’s debate, including New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker, Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren and former Texas Rep. Beto O’Rourke.

There’s always an outsider that jumps near the top but so far no one yet. DeBlasio did pretty good last night but he has no chance of getting any votes west of the Hudson.
You know why Google put him on top? Although they’re all baby murderers with taxpayer’s money, this guy wants to take it one step further. He wants taxpayers to pay for abortion rights for trans women (men transed to women) !@#$%. Castro desperately needs a biology class.
Google’s percentage of searches are exactly like the polls from CNN and other Fake News and means absolutely nothing. They manipulate search results to help the one they prefer, delete sites and have even found to delete millions of Youtube views from those they don’t want people to view. Duckduckgo is much more accurate search engine.
After his six years as Mayor in NYC he hasn’t much more chance East of the Hudson either thank G-d.

Google does manipulate its search results manually, contrary to the company’s official denials.
