Second Annual Bais Medrash Govoah Shabbos of Chizuk and Melava Malka in Monsey

This Shabbos, Parshas Beshalach, Bais Medrash Govoah will hold its second annual “Monsey Shabbos of Chizuk.” The roshei yeshiva and the mashgiach will visit various shuls in Monsey. The Shabbos is being held in advance of Bais Medrash Govoah’s second annual melava malka in Monsey, which will take place for both men and women at the Atrium Hall this Motzoei Shabbos, January 15.

The roshei yeshiva, Rav Aryeh Malkiel Kotler, Rav Yeruchem Olshin, Rav Dovid Schustal and Rav Yisroel Neuman, and the mashgiach, Rav Matisyahu Salomon, will be spending Shabbos at various locations in Monsey.

Rav Kotler will stay at the home of R’ Shaul Kopelowitz. He will daven Kabbolas Shabbos at Khal Shaarei Tefillah, under the leadership of Rav Ahron Dovid Willner, and will attend the seudah and an oneg Shabbos at the home of his host. He will daven Shacharis at Kehillas Bais Avrohom, under the leadership of Rav Yitzchok Lichtenstein, and attend the seudas Shabbos at the home of R’ Avrohom Grohman. Rav Kotler will attend seudah shlishis at Knesses Yisroel, under the leadership of Rav Chaim Schabes.

Rav Olshin will stay at the home of R’ Mayer Fischl. He will daven Kabbolas Shabbos at Ateres Rosh, under the leadership of Rav Mordechai Berg, and attend the seudah and an oneg Shabbos at the home of his host. He will daven Shacharis at Khal Shaar Hashomayim, under the leadership of Rav Yosef Viener, with a Kiddush following davening at the home of R’ Shlomo Horowitz. Rav Olshin will attend the seudas Shabbos at the home of R’ Shlomo Horowitz and seudah shlishis at Kehilas Zichron Yitzchok, under the leadership of Rav Teichman.

Rav Schustal will stay at the home of R’ Chaim Rausman. He will daven Kabbolas Shabbos at Khal Shaarei Tefillah, under the leadership of Rav Yisroel Dovid Schlesinger, and attend the seudah and an oneg Shabbos at the home of his host. He will daven Shacharis at Mikdash Dovid, under the leadership of Rav Zelig Berkowitz, with a Kiddush following davening hosted by R’ Shaya Dovid Willner and R’ Yehuda Wagner. He will attend the seudas Shabbos at the home of R’ Nuta Horowicz. Rav Neuman will attend seudah shlishis at Khal Adas Yeshurun.

Rav Neuman will stay at the home of R’ Ari Rabinowitz. He will daven Kabbolas Shabbos at Ahavas Yitzchok, under the leadership of Rav Bezalel Rudinsky, and will attend the seudah and an oneg Shabbos at the home of his host. He will daven Shacharis at Bais Medrash Netzach Yisroel, under the leadership of Rav Chaim Leibish Rottenberg, with a Kiddush following davening. He will attend the seudas Shabbos at the home of R’ Aron Jaroslawicz. Rav Neuman will attend seudah shlishis at Bais Medrash Bais Aharon, under the leadership of Rav Baruch Benzion Twersky.

The mashgiach, Rav Salomon, will stay at the home of R’ Shea Bernath. He will daven Kabbolas Shabbos at Khal Ahavas Torah, under the leadership of Rav Ephraim Wachsman, and will attend the seudas Shabbos and an oneg Shabbos at the home of his host. He will daven Shacharis at Yeshiva Ohr Someach and attend the seudas Shabbos at the home of R’ Nachman Auerbach. Rav Salomon will attend seudah shlishis at Rav Bronspigel’s bais medrash on Kakiat Lane.

The roshei yeshiva and the mashgiach will speak at each of the locations they visit.

On Motzoei Shabbos, Bais Medrash Govoah’s second annual melava malka in Monsey will be held at The Atrium. The reception will begin at 8:30 p.m., followed by the program at 9:30 p.m. The event will be chaired by R’ Sruli Orzel, with a hot buffet by Greenwald Caterers and zemiros by Yisroel Werdyger.
