Senate Confirms Vought To Be Trump’s OMB Director

The Senate on Monday confirmed Russell Vought to serve as President Trump’s director of the Office of Management and Budget.

Senators voted 51-45 to confirm Vought, who has filed the position since early 2019 in an acting capacity after then-OMB Director Mick Mulvaney became White House chief of staff.

Trump formally nominated Vought to the post in March.

  1. Why did every Democrat vote against him? Must they all walk in lockstep? Are they slaves to the DNC? Can any single one of them think for themselves? Or are they on automatic? If President Trump says yes, we say no. It doesn’t matter what the topic or issue is. This is terrible for democracy. The hate and partisanship coming from the democrat’s is appalling.
