Attorney General Jeff Sessions responded to the release of a contentious memo by Republicans on the House Intelligence Committee alleging intelligence abuses at the Justice Department, saying “no Department is perfect.”

In a statement issued shortly after the memo’s release, Sessions acknowledged GOP concerns about Department of Justice (DOJ) and FBI officials’ actions, but said he remained confident in the agency’s employees.

“Congress has made inquiries concerning an issue of great importance for the country and concerns have been raised about the Department’s performance,” he said. “I have great confidence in the men and women of this Department. But no Department is perfect.”

  1. Being that Sessions is such a fearful little baby, I hope his fears come true and has Adam Schiff throw him in prison. Why Trump hasn’t fired this coward yet is beyond me.

  2. From being “perfect” to being CRIMINALS is quite a distance. And you, Mr. Sessions, should be fired for covering up the FBI & DOJ’s criminal activities and for lavishing praise on one of their criminals, namely Rosenstein. Shame on you, Sessions.

  3. Sessions needs to continue sticking up for the FBI criminals and covering up their corruptions, if he knows what’s good for him. He’s not ready to get suicided.

  4. AG Sessions is a good person. He is a very religious xtian. He is in sync with our community on almost all issues and he is a staunch supporter of Israel. Even though he looks like “My favorite Martian” he knows a lot about the inner workings of the FBI and most of the DOJ. If the President is keeping him as AG then they must know what they’re doing. As transparent as this administration is there are still things that the public does not “need to know”.

  5. So now we know Sessions still exists. I was worried. Anyway, the Democrats, and probably some of the rogues in the DOJ and FBI, scared him into wrongly delegating authority, and to the absolutely wrong person.
