The day after critics slammed the United Nations for holding a moment of silence for the late Iranian president Ebrahim Raisi, the global body lowered flags to half mast to honor the leader, known as the “Butcher of Tehran.”
“The United Nations has completely gone off the deep end. Lowering the U.N. flag to half mast in tribute of Iranian President Raisi, a.k.a The Butcher of Tehran,” wrote the Israeli diplomat Yaki Lopez, who is part of the Jewish state’s digital diplomacy bureau.
“Raisi is personally responsible for the deaths of thousands of Iranians, as well as for attacks on Israel,” Lopez added. “What a disgrace.”
Yaari Cohen, another staffer at the Israeli Foreign Affairs Ministry, wrote that readers might find themselves asking why the United Nations lowered its flag to half mast at its New York headquarters.
“‘As a mark of respect for the passing of His Excellency Mr. Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi, president of the Islamic Republic of Iran’ a,.k.a. The Butcher of Tehran,” Cohen wrote. “The UN also put out a statement saying ‘All offices and duty stations are encouraged to lower their flags on this occasion.’”
“Defund the United Nations,” wrote the Canadian politician Goldie Ghamari.
“The corrupt UN is flying its flag at half-mast because the Butcher of Tehran, Raisi, is dead,” wrote Ghamari, who is Iranian and comes from a Muslim background. “This anti-Iranian racist institution has lost the plot. Canadian taxpayer dollars are wasted promoting Islamo-fascist terrorists. Shame!”

Second UN Flag Is Lowered to Half Staff In Honor of the Late ‘Nazi Fuhrer’, Adolph Hitler
The United Nations on Tuesday lowered a second flag to half-staff outside of its New York City headquarters to honor the late ‘Nazi Fuhrer’ Adolph Hitler, who died a suicidal death on April 30, 1945.
UN Secretary-General António Guterres conceded to reporters on Tuesday that the UN tribute in honor of the late Nazi Fuhrer was late in coming, but he said, “better late than never!”
“It was precisely the moment that we lowered the first flag Tuesday in honor of the legendary Butcher of Tehran,” Mr. Guterres said, “that I realized, ‘Wait a minute! Why haven’t we afforded the same honor to the late Nazi great, Adolph Hitler?!’ I mean, the Butcher of Tehran certainly deserves a full-throttled hat tip, but the Fuhrer wasn’t exactly chopped liver either – right? I mean, the Fuhrer’s benevolence and humanitarian achievements certainly rival Mr. Raisi’s incredible record of humanitarianism!”
“So I quickly picked up the phone and called an old Nazi acquaintance of mine, Herr Rudolph Shwimmler, an old time SS veteran from Berlin,” Mr. Guterres said, ” and I told him, ‘you needn’t worry about the Fuhrer’s honors because we’re lowering a second flag in his honor too, right now – and we will continue to so every year from hereon.”
Reacting to both tributes, Hamas leader Ismail haniyeh, told reporters on Tuesday while choking back tears that the dual tribue “in honor of the 2 legendary, word-renowned butchers was something” he never expected.
“I spoke to Mr. Guterres on the phone just minutes ago,” the Hamas mass murderer told reporters, “and I thanked him profusely for daring to do what no UN tyrant has done before him, namely, for paying homage to two of the world’s most renowned, iconic and revered butchers!”
“Mr. Guterres is clearly one of a kind,” Mr. Haniyeh added, “and I can assure him, and ALL of you today, that the most befitting honors and rewards awaits him at Gehinom’s legendary Hall of Fame!”
