Jewish American billionaire casino tycoon and longtime Israel supporter Sheldon Adelson has reportedly donated $25 million to the Senate Leadership Fund, becoming the largest donor to Republican candidates in the upcoming US midterm elections.

Adelson previously donated $30 million to another Republican PAC called the Congressional Leadership Fund in an effort to help the party maintain its majority in the US House of Representatives. This puts his total contributions for this election cycle at approximately $55 million.
