It is with great sadness that Matzav.com reports the tragic passing of Shia Singer z”l at Camp Arugas Habosem-Tzeilim on Whittaker Road in South Fallsburg, NY. He was just 12 years old.
Following the seudas Shabbos on Friday night, Shia suddenly collapsed. Despite the valiant efforts of Hatzolah, they were unable to revive him, and he tragically passed away at the hospital.
Shia, a son of R’ and Mrs. Chaim Bentzion Singer, was a talmid at Talmud Torah Darkei Chaim in Boro Park.
The Singers are mispallelim of Rav Binomin Eisenberger’s kehillah in Boro Park.
Understandably, the campers have been profoundly affected by this distressing event. To provide support, trauma and grief counseling, professionals from Chai Lifeline were present at the camp last night, comforting the campers.
The levayah is being held now at 1650 57th Street in Boro Park. Kevurah will follow at the bais hachaim in Monroe.

Great idea to turn a tragedy Iike this into a vaccine debate. Prior to 2020 there were no sudden deaths, strokes, heart attacks or any form of illness. Prior to 2021, when the covid vaccine was launched on the (mostly) unsuspecting world population, far fewer people under 60 died suddenly for unexplained reasons. It happened, sure, but much, much less. This is a fact, known to be happening worldwide except countries that didn’t take the covid vax. The reason it is being mentioned is that this is a very unusual death (or was prior to 2021) and fits the profile of many others who took the jab. If he did have the jab, let his death not be in vain and let others benefit by doing detox and stopping further jabs. Either way, his family should be comforted among the mourners of Zion and Yerushalayim and know no more sorrow.
