Israeli President Shimon Peres attended a pre-X-mas celebration at a Catholic Church in the Israeli city of Ramla yesterday. He was joined by local Christian leaders as well as representatives of Israel’s other Christian sects.
Upon arrival at the Franciscan Catholic Church, Peres was greeted by a group of children dressed in Santa Claus outfits who sang X-mas carols in English, Hebrew, and Arabic. Peres then joined the children in a rendition of “Jingle Bells” inside of the church.
“I came to offer my blessings on behalf of the State of Israel, where Jews, Christians and Muslims live together,” Peres said in his address to the audience.
“The Lord is doing what he can, but we must do what we need to do to follow His wish and our destiny, to live in peace,” he added.

Foolish move
Shimon – For shame!
he would really look good dressed as santa claus
For Chareidi people
or even for religious Jews.
Oh how we’ve fallen
I like Peres but why would he do such a dumb thing? I don’t get it .
#4… Chareidim ARE religious Jews.
Please, Shimon, why wont you join me at the dog track? We’re both nuts & would make a great pair.
Might it be that he is one of them? Read up.
