Rabbi Shmuley Boteach lost his bid for a congressional seat from New Jersey.
The controversial rabbi, writer and radio and TV personality was beaten handily by Democrat Rep. Bill Pascrell.
Boteach, a Republican, tried his best in his Democratic northeastern New Jersey district after Pascrell battled Congressman Steve Rothman in a party primary due to redistricting.

where did he get ordained ??
Beaten handily by Democrat Rep. Bill Pascrell.
Let’s put this into perspective. The final vote was Bill Pascrell 146,819 — 73.6% and Shmuley Boteach 50,726 — 25.4%. This was not ‘beaten handidly’ this was a landslide. This was SB blowing smoke, and finally having his head delivered to him. The masses have spoken
by whom was he ordained
What does it matter to you/
who cares where he got his smicha
Thank God he lost!
he had no business running.
He is a Lubavitch. Plus, semicha is not as much ordination in the popular sense of the term as it is certification that someone studied Melicha/Basar v’Cholov/Ta’aruvos.
I guess he can go back to writing his books.
