In a startling incident captured on video, an individual wearing a yarmulka was observed mercilessly tearing down posters depicting Hamas hostages.
The man was recorded walking along Ocean Parkway in Flatbush, Brooklyn, this morning, removing the posters and disposing of them in trash bins.
While instances of anti-Israel and pro-Hamas terror sympathizers and activists vandalizing similar posters across New York City and elsewhere have been documented, this may be the first case documents of an Orthodox Jewish man doing such a thing. It is not clear what his motive was or what issue he had with the posters.

There’s no way this guy is actually frum. He doesn’t have kosher peyos. If he’s chabad, he would have full peyos and if he was litvish he wouldn’t have his shirt untucked. If you look closely at the man in the video, there are several strong indications that this is not “an Orthodox Jewish man” rather a Muslim man disguised in Orthodox Jewish attire.
Being that this is a public post which can be read by Sonei Yisroel, I will refrain from listing the pointers which are pretty obvious to frum people.
I have seen that other frum websites have already taken down this post, and I strongly encourage the editors here to do the same. At minimum I suggest that unless the editors can verify his identity as Jewish (very unlikely) they should correct the the wording “this may be the first case documents of an Orthodox Jewish man doing such a thing” to: “this may be the first documented case of a man dressed in Orthodox Jewish Garb”.
And unless proven otherwise (very unlikely), I strongly encourage against sharing this video on social media which is just pushing anti Jewish Muslim propaganda.
