Watch: Shulem – Face The Unknown

20

Everyone is different
Distances between
And Fixing it is not as simple as it seems
But there is understanding
If you just believe
Together we will all join hearts in unity
Love will help you to be brave rushing in just like the waves
You don’t have to be afraid when we all believe

You and I are one
And wherever we’re from
We all shine under the same sun
Love could never be wrong
And it helps us be strong
as we face the unknown

You can call me brother
Come to me in need
And I know that you’ll be there if ever it were me
Love will cross an ocean, deeper than the sea
It’s possible we’ll make impossibilities

Love will help you to be brave rushing in just like the waves
You don’t have to be afraid when we all believe

You and I are one
And wherever we’re from
We all shine under the same sun
Love could never be wrong
And it helps us be strong
As we face the unknown

Like a shadow and now
that the sun’s going down
Love still follows us around and I hope it always will
It’s a matter of faith
Just imagine a place
Where hate has been erased
It’s not hard if you try

You and I are one
And wherever we’re from
We all shine under the same sun
Love could never be wrong
And it helps us be strong
As we face the unknown
You and I are one
And wherever we’re from
We all shine under the same sun
And it helps us be strong
As we face the unknown

  1. Thank you Shulem.

Before watching this clip I questioned what kind of appeal will this be for.
But 30 seconds in, I felt a chill up my spine.

    Absolutely amazing. Definitely needed.
All of G-ds creations are precious. If we like them or not. Or if they hate us or not. There is a Higher known reason for For all this.

Thank you Shulem again. Absolutely beautiful.

    Menachem

  2. kol ahava sheteluya b’davar.
But if its ahava for Hash-ms creations becuase of ahavas Hash-m i guess thats ok.
To whom is this song being marketed?

  3. While he has great voice, I’m sorry to say this song is trying way to hard to sound like goyish song. It’s only showing goyim. What’s up with that? I also take issue with the words “love can never be wrong” . It can , if used for the wrong things or at the wrong times . ‏ ‏אהבה מקלקלת את השורה

  4. Very surprised by the complete lack of Tznius in this music video. I thought (wrongly) that I can watch it, as it is supposedly a frum (chasidishe?) singer.
That he put it out like this is pretty surprising but who knows? Maybe it’s for a different target audience, and he needs to do this to put bread on the table. Even so its
doubtful that he got a haskama from any Daas Torah. But its even worse that you posted it and I challenge Matzav to find one Rav who will stand behind that decision.

  5. This song isn’t targeted to the frum community. Shulem is contracted by a not-Jewish record producer and this album is targeted to a broader audience. This song is a Kiddush Hashem because the whole world is watching someone in chassidish lebush singing a song of positivity.

  6. i think fyi is right this music isn’t targeted for the Jewish community its supposed to be music for the broader audience why matzav chose to show it i have no idea i think they just love controversy
