Beginning in late June, New York state residents will have the option to select a gender-neutral “X” marker for their driver’s license, birth certificate, or any other official identification document, the governor’s office announced Friday, Newsmax reports.
New Yorkers will also be able to self-select their gender designation for the first time, according to Democratic governor Kathy Hochul. “Every person, regardless of their gender identity or expression, deserves to have an identity document that reflects who they are,” said Hochul, in a news release detailing the state’s “Gender Recognition Act,” which goes into effect on June 24.
Under the measure, signed into law by former Gov. Andrew Cuomo last year, state-issued licenses and IDs can be amended to display M (male), F (female) or “X” gender markers, upon request with “no additional documents required.”
In New York, current state law requires residents seeking changes to their preferred gender — or away from their “predominant” gender — to provide documentation from a doctor. In other states, though, people must fulfill more stringent requirements to get their preferred gender on official documents, such as a driver’s license or birth certificate.

Learn something about the concept of “slippery slope”. As soon as one sick thing becomes normalized, then “they” (those who are pushing these tings for their own selfish purposes) escalate to the next sicker thing and so forth. It is already clearly on the horizon that “they” are going to enact laws to allow Child Services (or whatever they will call it) to “protect” the child through “affirming gender identity” (which means gender transitioning among other things). And if the parents object to the government’s decision on this gender transitioning abomination the child will be taken out of the custody of the parents for alleged child abuse (meaning objecting to the government forcibly “gender affirming”, a.k.a. gender transitioning the child, will be deemed child abuse).
Wow. So important Governor Hochul. When lives are being destroyed in Buffalo by some mental case, your response is, let’s make room for more mental chaos and confuse people to what they actually are. For years there were either men or women, male or female. Nothing has changed. By letting people choose what they are, you will only be the one to be blamed for more mental cases.
