[Click here to view the letter.] The Slonimer Rebbe, Rav Shmuel Berezovsky, son of the Nesivos Shalom zt”l, has said that his chassidim would not compromise and would continue their struggle against the Israeli High Court, in regards to its undemcratic ruling in the Emmanuel Bais Yaakov affair.
“Even if they put us in front of a firing squad, we would not give up and would not compromise,” the Rebbe declared in a letter.
“If I thought the justices believe in what they wrote, that the school in Emmanuel is based on racial discrimination, I probably would have acted differently,” the Rebbe wrote. “But since I have no shadow of a doubt that they know the truth, that their words are lies to the core, this is a struggle between faith and heresy, between sacred power and impure Satanic forces, a struggle that we’ve always known would break out at the end of days.”
At the end of his message, the Rebbe called on the public to “join us in this sublime struggle that generations have waited and looked forward to.”

The Slonimer Rebbe Shlita released a harshly well worded letter on Wednesday, June 23, 2010, after the High Court of Justice ruling of Tuesday, sending some of the Emanuel wives to prison.
The Rebbe Shlita states he is convinced the court is well-aware of the truth in the case, and the courts words are simply lies, untruths to the core. The Rebbe Shlita explains this is a battle of faith against non-believers.
The Rebbe Shlita tells followers a day after the court decreed that nine Emanuel mothers must serve jail terms that the battle here surrounds a Torah lifestyle versus those who deny the validity of Torah. He stresses this is simply a test of Emunah, our belief in G-D and the Torah way of life.
The Rebbe Shlita adds that if he really thought the judges believed there was truly discrimination at Emanuels Beis Yaakov, he would act differently, but this is not the case. But since I have no doubt whatsoever that their words are baseless, this is simply a battle of Emunah against Kfira, between the Koach of Kedusha and the Koach of Tuma, the Sitra Achra a battle that we all knew would come near the end of days.
And in a battle of Kiddush Hashem, even if they stand us before a firing squad, there will be NO compromise. Hashem is our King and we will continue in his path until our last breath.
