snowdenThe Norwegian Academy of Literature and Freedom of Expression may be forced to hold a ceremony awarding Edward Snowden its Bjornson prize at the country’s border with Russia, leaders said, out of fears that the whistleblower will be extradited to the U.S. if he steps foot on Norwegian soil.

The Norwegian government has received at least two official U.S. requests to extradite Snowden. Read more at The Local – Norway.
